6'6" x 20" x 2.5" egg for Mike. I shape more quads or singlefins than these crazy retro tri-fins, but this one looks pretty fun. I guess it's called a "thruster"—we'll see if the whole three-fin idea works. The Moonlight Glass reverse tint is cool, too.

Maiden voyage successful! Just snuck out for an extended lunch hour and enjoyed a handful of head high peelers in Del Mar. Smooth. Glide.
UPDATE: Took it out again this morning. Surf was bigger, overhead at least. First wave, which on my old KG would've been a disastrous closeout, opened up as the egg squirted me into the next section. Amazing. Seriously, super smooth and fast. Second wave was bigger yet, and would've been a beauty if not for the funky, launch-ramp-like backwash that was reflecting off the cliffs on the inside. Nonetheless, the board (and I) held our line and made a few nice turns before bailing. I'll keep the GlideBlog updated on further outings, but for now I'm giving the 6'6 egg an A+.
